The Harlem Collective movement inspires and celebrates the classical artistic offerings of the African American diaspora. The brain child of our founder Jarvus Ricardo Hester, his passion for classical arts and desire to unite his community brought to life this grassroots effort. His desire is to make the classical/opera  more tangible to the masses, not just the 1%.

The core focus is to provide a platform for emerging African American opera singers to hone and perfect their craft. A bridge between college and career. The resources that harmoniously come together to produce opera or classical performances brings not only Harlem together, but inspire travel from all over the globe to visit New York for the best in the art form.

Harlem Collective also unites the African American businesses owners in Harlem through brand building opportunities that we offer online, and in person. These opportunities provide cross promotional exposure to all involved.

Are you a creative or African American business owner in NYC? Join the movement today and inspire our community to explore the world of classical music and to spend their money in our community. Harlem collective makes it simple to “Buy Black” in Harlem.
