Auditions

We are holding auditions for classical pianists/musicians, classical singers, and boys 10-16 for our boy’s choir and to fill open positions in our chamber orchestra and opera chorus. We are looking to fill these positions with these slots with emerging musicians and singers of the African-American diaspora.

This season we celebrate African-American giants of the Harlem Renaissance, Langston Hughes, Williams Grant Still, Mark Fax, and many more will be celebrated as we recreate their classical works of art. We appreciate your support in getting the word out about this audition. Interested applicants should apply online for a time slot to audition. The deadline to sign up for a time slot is 24 hours prior to the audition date.

Auditions are being held September 23, 2023, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm at 1952 First Avenue New York, NY 10029. For more information please email me at jhester@harlemcollective.org or go online at www.harlemcollective.org
