Harlem Collective Opera is redefining what opera looks and feels like for a new generation. Through innovative productions, community partnerships, educational initiatives, and the celebration of Black composers, our work is attracting the attention of audiences, arts leaders, educators, and members of the media.

From groundbreaking performances and cultural collaborations to national touring initiatives and arts education, Harlem Collective Opera is committed to making classical music more accessible, inclusive, and relevant while preserving the rich legacy of Black classical artistry.

Our flagship production, The Black Composer Project: From Dawn to Cosmic Night, has become a cornerstone of this mission, introducing audiences to the music and stories of historically underrepresented composers through an intimate candlelight concert experience.

As our company continues to grow, we welcome opportunities to share our story with journalists, broadcasters, podcasters, bloggers, and media organizations interested in the future of opera, arts innovation, cultural equity, and community engagement.
